We are currently recruiting for an Senior Project Manager to join our established and experienced Chief Information Office team here at RSA on a hybrid basis.
Your Role:
As the Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end project delivery process. You are accountable for working with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed within agreed outcomes and scope (typically cost, time and quality).
You will work within the frameworks, standards and governance applicable to the change including business, change and CIO. You will define and establish the project methodology (waterfall, agile or hybrid) and best fit structure, roles and teams to ensure efficient and effective project delivery working with platform and portfolio teams.
You will manage partners/vendors via an integrated delivery plan and against contractual agreements. You will undertake quality assurance, making sure project deliverables and outputs enable value to be achieved. You will manage project costs and ensure agreement and visibility of total cost of ownership.
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have experience of scoping, planning, estimating and defining delivery organisation structures and ways of working. You will have risk management experience, with the ability to identify, mitigate and track technical, financial, operational and people risks.
You will have financial management experience, looking at budgets, forecasts, costs and benefits management. You will have cross functional leadership experience, working with multiple teams and stakeholders and driving performance.
You will be able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable the achievement of project delivery and targets. You will be able to challenge the status quo with openness to drive improvements, seeking solutions.
