UK Capital Advisory - Funds at Lloyd’s Broker
Do you have significant experience in the Lloyd’s market? Been involved in raising Funds at Lloyd’s capital for Lloyd’s syndicates? Aon’s Capital Advisory team in London is hiring and looking to add an experienced broker to our team.
This is a London based role with the flexibility to work in a hybrid manner with a deliverables focused approach.

What the day will look like
The role is both focussed on the Funds at Lloyd’s book of business but allows for a broader involvement in the Lloyd’s syndicate stat-up advisory activity. You will spend your time on the following sorts of activities:
- Engaging with syndicate clients to assess their FAL needs and work on a strategy for each client and prospect
- Engaging with reinsurers and other FAL markets to understand their appetite so we can match them with syndicate opportunities
- Engage with Aon reinsurance brokers and account executives to align the FAL strategy to the overall reinsurance strategy
- Actively developing junior team members by guiding and knowledge sharing as appropriate

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Technical knowledge of the various mechanisms of how reinsurers and markets participate on Syndicates via a Funds at Lloyd’s transaction.
- Hands on experience of broking syndicates to reinsurers from a Funds at Lloyd’s perspective
- Deep relationships with key Lloyd’s stakeholders (Managing agents, members agents, syndicates, markets, Lloyd’s)
- A collaborative, ‘one team’ approach
