Job Title: Operations Manager, Europe

Role of Department
To provide support to and professionalize Operations in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieving objectives regarding Operations (Classic Retail) for the Central Region. Main objectives relate to quality, productivity and costs, SLA and KPI framework etc.
- Act as subject matter expert for Europe, in Underwriting processes, esp MNP
- Guide monthly renewals process
- Focus on correct and timely support/processing by in country operations
- Supporting the implementation of the LSM Central strategy by working with in country operations. In close collaboration with the Sr. Manager Operations Europe, Head of Operations Europe and local management.
- Support transitions from UW to local Ops
- Performing audits/quality checks, esp open DOT tasks in UW and Ops teams
- Processing exceptions and high complex tasks (such as MNP)
- Achieve ambitious SLA’s/KPI’s on TAT (turn around time) and accuracy
- Ensure that standard operating procedures accurately reflect the activities and responsibilities
- Standardize and optimize internal (MNP) processes
- Timely and proper reporting around BAU activities
- Participate in projects and programs
- Responsibilities will evolve due to changes in operating model and is not limited to the above

Skills and Experience
- Good understanding of Underwriting processes and procedures (incl. MNP);
- Experience gained within the insurance industry;
- Experience with transactional insurance systems – Genius, DOT, Liberty Link etc. – highly desirable;
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills in the appropriate language and the ability to interact with a diverse group including executives, managers, and subject matter experts;
- Fluent in English and a European language (German, French)
- Good organisational and prioritisation skills;
- Ability to establish and maintain deadlines and service level agreements;
- Experience of working to varying and tight deadlines;
- Ability to proactively resolve issues;
- Good attention to detail;
- Strong Excel skills.
