About the Role:
Industry data is an integral party type that is being conformed as part of our Master Data Management initiative. The role will involve cleansing and conforming Industry data to align with Hierarchy’s and Actuarial Pricing Tools, it will also involve communications with various stakeholders throughout the business to ensure the data is accurate and marketed concisely. The Policy Admin Systems integrations and metrics are examples of new processes which will need to be mapped out and supported into BAU.
About the Department & Team:
Management Information encompasses a number of analysts and teams which cover all areas of analytics from Business Intelligence to Management Reporting, Dashboards, Portals, Statistics, Operational Data and Governance; utilising the application of management techniques to collect and communicate information to the wider business and process to enable managers to make quicker and more well informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Data Operations Manager and the Head of Data in cleansing and conforming Industry data and aligning to Actuarial Tools.
- Review opportunities for integrating data into other platforms including Policy Admin Systems.
- Communicate with a variety of level of Stakeholder across all Regions.
- Reconcile and Cleanse data to ensure consistent use of hierarchies and alignment terminology.
- Assist and work with the Business Analyst to ensure user stories are to an acceptable standard.
- Liaise with the business and be able to vocalise issues and risks appropriately.
- Escalate concerns and blockers as needed.
- Look for streamlining opportunities in consolidation of data sources to assist with the single source of truth.
- Be able to articulate the benefit of our bespoke hierarchy utilization and how this can integrate and bring business value and data insights to the wider business.
- Support Global initiatives to be able to leverage this hierarchy and where this can be expanded to include other regions as needed.
- Produce metrics and produce a roadmap to demonstrate progress and future requirements.
- Be able to work in and understand Agile Methodology and articulate the skills and concepts of MDM and Rosetta stone methodology.

Skills and Experience:
- Competent at analysing large datasets, and reporting respective findings
- Able to present feedback and issues in a clear and concise manner
- Advanced Excel skills
- Preparing summary reports/able to present findings to senior stakeholders
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to problem solve
- Timekeeping and ability to self-start/organize priorities
- Have experience working directly with technical teams as well as the business.
- Experience in Insurance terminology and market practices.
- Knowledge and experience in Agile
