We are currently recruiting for a Product Designer to join our established and experienced Chief Information Office team here at RSA on a hybrid basis.
Role Requirements
As the Product Designer you will be responsible for creating comprehensive, user centred product designs (user flows, wireframes, prototypes & interface designs) for different digital journeys and products. You will define and implement a robust product design process that delivers value for RSA, our partners, and our customers.
You will work collaboratively with platform owners, tech leads, software engineers and test engineers to ensure designs meet business, customer, and technical needs. You will conduct user testing and user interviews to validate our design solutions and drive innovation.
You will plan, execute, and analyse user research, present this to stakeholders and use to inform design thinking. You will provide design guidance to our software engineers and ensure features are implemented as per the designs.
The Individual
To be successful in this role you will have experience working in product/platform focused design environments. You will have experience in design tooling – preferably Figma, Adobe Creative Suite as well as rapid prototyping and user testing tools e.g. Axure, Userzoom.
You will demonstrate a good foundation of accessibility and design principles, sharp eye for detail and be mobile first in thinking and design. You will have good communication and presentation skills to play back design concepts and research outputs to team members and stakeholders.
