Join our team as a Corporate Content Specialist and help us create compelling content that engages and informs our target audience.

As a skilled writer, you will be responsible for developing and executing corporate content and thought leadership that aligns with our brand and business goals.

You will write corporate reports, including financial reporting, speeches, thought-leadership articles, video scripts, web pages, etc. and the full range of corporate content and marketing written pieces that a listed insurance company will need.

Your ability to research and analyse industry, business and economic trends, as well as your strong communication skills, will be essential in creating content that resonates with our audience and drives results.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work across Marketing and with Head of Corporate Affairs to build a corporate and financial content strategy.
  • Develop and execute the corporate content strategy.
  • Develop, write and edit front section of the Annual Report and the Sustainability Report.
  • Create high-quality, engaging content across various formats, including financial reporting corporate reports, speeches, thought leadership articles, video and podcast scripts and webpages amongst others.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify content gaps and opportunities and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers/agencies, marketing managers, and subject matter experts, to ensure content is accurate, on-brand, and meets project deadlines.
  • Produce content strategies for internal clients, and work with marketing team to continuously test and refine content strategies and tactics to improve results and drive business growth.
  • Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of content.
  • Manage content projects to budget

 

Key Skills

  • Ability to influence executive leadership and senior stakeholders
  • Act as company spokesperson as required
  • Financial communications exposure preferred
  • Excellent writing skills and strong experience of writing in a corporate, consultancy or business journalism environment.
  • Financial services or B2B sector experience needed and insurance sector experience is an advantage
  • Strong ability to connect macro-economic, social and geopolitical trends with our corporate priorities.
  • Be comfortable working at all levels of the organisation and able to gain the confidence of all
  • Highly curious, keen to learn and develop career
  • Hard working and energetic
  • Focused on accuracy and meeting deadlines
