Introduction
The Planning and Performance Administrator provides administrative support to the Senior Planning and Performance Manager in order to help ensure that CST is resourced effectively and that the management team make effective use of data and reporting to ensure that SLAs are achieved, and effective decisions are made.
This role requires a high level of confidentiality, strong communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills and background, and an understanding of planning and forecasting.
Responsibilities
Customer Service & Service Delivery
- Assist Senior Planning and Performance Manager in assessing impacts of new work and teams being absorbed by CST to ensure effective resourcing to meet demand
- Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Input and maintain resource models that ensure we have enough staff to deliver excellent service
- Assist Senior Planning and Performance Manager and provide a point of reference in their absence, including within any strategic or stakeholder groups
Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with Senior Planning and Performance Manager, IT, and Operations to assess and develop systems, processes, and tools to provide data in order to achieve CST objectives
- Assist in implementation within CST of initiatives to improve service and offering, to help enable business growth
- Ensure all process changes follow proper change process methodology and stakeholders are informed and consulted; teams should know business and process changes will be discussed with line managers and the relevant business units, with sign off processes
- Maintain the CST skills matrix to ensure up-to-date tracking of development of technicians and flex of resource to meet changes in demand
Relationship Management
- Maintain excellent working relationships with GST functions and divisions
Resource Management
- Assist the Senior Planning and Performance Manager in ensuring adequate resourcing to meet workloads, productivity, and quality requirements
- Assist when needed with ad hoc projects, managing delivery expectations
- Work with the management team to review performance, and forecasts, and to ensure appropriate resourcing recommendations are made
Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications
- High level of ability with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Ideally experienced in a similar planning or resourcing function
- Ability to analyse and identify key information
- Ability to problem solve using policies and procedures
- Understand and use common insurance terminology
- CII qualification desirable
Please note – this role can be performed in-office, or through hybrid working, though the expectation would be that any probation period is full-time in the office.
