Introduction
Responsible for the administration support function of the North America Open Market broking team.
Responsibilities
- Completing checklists on all bound risks
- Compiling and sending submissions to the market
- Aiding the broking team with organising client events
- Preparing client meeting itineraries and presentation documents
- Aid and assist the broking team as a link to the marketing division
- Uploading firm order slips to PPL and seeing through to signing and close
- Preparation of Final Terms/Binding documents for Clients.
- Working closely with Processing and Accounts teams to monitor premium payments and assist in chasing for outstanding funds where required.
- Requests and oversees follow-up for changes from underwriters and reviews coverage specifications to be submitted to carriers/underwriters to ensure they are accurate.
- Maintains market contact at appropriate levels needed to execute assigned tasks effectively and assist the Placement colleague.
Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications
- Strong administrative and time management skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- London Market Insurance knowledge preferred
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others, both internal and external — strong interpersonal skills.
- Understanding and affinity for relationship building.
