We’re looking for an Intelligent Automation Technical Lead to join us. You’ll be part of the team leading the development of AXA’s capabilities in the use of Robotics and Intelligent Automation, providing support to the operating company programmes in ensuring the quality of delivered intelligent automations. You’ll assist the implementation of automation solutions that meet business needs and adhere to necessary governance and regulations. 

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting the delivery of intelligent automations, throughout the automation design , assisting in deployment and testing 
• Overseeing the design and delivery of efficient solutions that are aligned to the business requirements and the automation principles
• Leading continuous improvement of the wider automation community and acting in a mentoring capacity
• Contributing to the knowledge base of the automation team by proactively sharing information and promoting best practices within the team by demonstrating them 
  Identifying potential improvements through automations tools and articulating these ideas clearly 
• Ensuring the quality of automations by rigorous testing and reviewing
• Building a strong network of relationships across the business to facilitate the delivery of accurate and timely automations, including defect fixes and new projects
• Ensuring impediments, debt and enablers are clearly communicated and understood by key stakeholders

What you’ll bring:

• Experience in delivery of automation solutions
• Proven experience providing leadership to a suitable level
• Good knowledge of development lifecycles e.g. waterfall, agile and product development
• Proficiency in UiPath (UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and other UiPath components)
• Knowledge of languages commonly used in UiPath automation e.g. VB.NET
• Experience with CI/CD tools within Azure DevOps
• Ability to ensure code quality, readability, and maintainability
• Understanding internal quality control checks and procedures, and ensuring compliance with them
• Working knowledge of agile practices and principles
