The New Business Development Director is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their insurance needs, and providing tailored solutions that align with Gallagher's comprehensive insurance offerings. The successful candidate will be a proactive, results-driven professional with a deep understanding of the insurance market and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including networking, referrals, and market research.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective clients to understand their insurance needs and objectives.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to showcase Gallagher's insurance solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and propose tailored insurance solutions that meet client needs.
- Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and threats.
- Provide insights and feedback to the management team to support strategic decision-making.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market insights.
About You
- Industry experience in an Commercial Lines role in a brokerage/insurance environment is essential.
- A proven track record within a Commercial Lines New Business Role.
- This is an MCC role and the minimum mandatory requirement is Certified Insurance Practitioner (CIP) working towards your MDI qualification.
