We are looking for a strategic and experienced Business Information Security Officer to join our Cyber Security Leadership Team. As the Head of Market Cyber Security for Aviva Investors, and Group Functions, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting cyber security across these markets. Your role will be crucial in simplifying cyber security engagement for colleagues and supporting them in securely delivering their objectives.

A bit about the job:

This role acts as a strategic cybersecurity partner to business leaders, ensuring cyber risks are understood, managed, and aligned with both Group and market needs. It bridges the gap between technical controls and business priorities, driving secure operations and regulatory compliance across the market

  • Serve as a trusted cybersecurity advisor to business leaders, offering strategic guidance on cyber risks and treatment plans

  • Oversee and consolidate cyber risk posture at both market and group levels, ensuring effective risk management

  • Ensure compliance with relevant market-specific cybersecurity regulations and standards

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to embed security into key market projects and change initiatives

  • Partner with control operators and capability leads to align and implement Group cyber security controls within market operations

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Proven leadership and team management skills.

  • Extensive experience in cyber security risk management, regulatory compliance, and control frameworks.

  • Strong track record of implementing security standards in complex environments.

  • Ability to balance cyber security and business objectives pragmatically.

  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to cyber security
