What you’ll be doing
Supporting the Political & Credit Risk underwriting team, you’ll be responsible for analysing and giving clear credit opinions on individual credit risks, drawing out deal strengths and weaknesses. In coordination with the Senior Credit Manager, you’ll produce ratings for corporate obligors and transactions based on established procedures, utilising external modelling guidelines and expert judgement.
As a Senior Credit Analyst, you’ll proactively produce ad hoc economic, industry and sector analyses with the objective of more effective and efficient underwriting, supporting the P&CR team in forming and continually monitoring robust views on international economies and key sectors.
A successful candidate will be familiar with the risk characteristics, drivers and mitigants of a wide range of international banking products including all aspects of corporate lending, real estate finance, trade, structured and commodity finance, borrowing base/reserve based lending and project finance. The role is suited to a formally trained credit analyst, with experience working in a head or regional office credit department of an international bank, or alternatively with similar relevant credit analysis experience in a PCR insurance underwriting team.
We welcome everyone wholeheartedly
We’ve got a truly diverse, genuinely inclusive work environment. We comfortably and confidently bring our whole selves to work, because we know we’ll be respected, valued and accepted whoever we are. Our Employee Resource groups are safe spaces for people to share their experiences, aspirations and suggestions about how we do things.
