Position Title: Assistant V.P – Senior Client Executive, Affinity

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly capable and client-focused insurance professional to deliver end-to-end brokering, consulting, and insurance administration services across both existing and new client portfolios. This role plays a critical part in ensuring service excellence, strong client relationships, and high-quality delivery across complex and sophisticated insurance programmes.
The position is responsible for managing all aspects of client servicing, including policy administration, programme execution, and client enquiries, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional outcomes. In addition, the role will lead strategic regional client engagements and projects, particularly those involving complex contract reviews and bespoke placement structures, requiring strong technical expertise, commercial judgement, and stakeholder management. The role works closely with clients, insurers, and internal teams to design and implement tailored insurance solutions, leveraging deep risk and market knowledge.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Client Servicing & Relationship Management
- Deliver high-quality brokering, consulting, and insurance administration services across existing and new client portfolios.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring consistently high service standards and client satisfaction.
- Manage end-to-end client enquiries relating to policy administration and insurance programmes in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
Strategic Client & Project Management
- Lead and manage strategic regional clients and projects, including:
- Complex contract reviews
- Bespoke and non-standard placement structures
- Coordinate closely with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective programme design and execution.
Placement, Proposals & Market Engagement
- Prepare and manage client proposals, tenders, analytical reports, and presentations.
- Participate in client meetings, insurer negotiations, and placement discussions to secure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain strong working relationships with underwriters and insurers throughout the servicing lifecycle.
Risk Advisory & Solution Design
- Apply strong technical and market expertise to:
- Review and analyse clients’ risk exposures and loss experience
- Design and recommend tailored insurance solutions for complex and sophisticated risks
- Identify and recommend additional products and value-added services where appropriate
Professional Experience & Technical Expertise
- Minimum 6–8 years’ relevant experience in insurance broking or related insurance roles, with demonstrated senior-level responsibility for client servicing, placement, and advisory delivery.
- Strong technical foundation across insurance products, programme structures, and placement strategies, with the ability to manage complex, bespoke, and non-standard risks.
- Proven experience leading strategic and regional client accounts, including complex contract reviews and tailored insurance programme design.
- Solid understanding of insurance market practices, insurer appetites, and underwriting dynamics, with the ability to apply sound commercial judgement.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Demonstrated track record of building and maintaining trusted, long-term client relationships at a senior stakeholder level.
- Confident communicator with the ability to represent clients effectively in discussions and negotiations with insurers and underwriters.
- Able to work collaboratively with internal teams across geographies to deliver coordinated and high-quality client outcomes.
Commercial & Market Acumen
- Strong commercial mindset, with experience identifying growth opportunities through enhanced coverage structures, additional products, and value-added services.
- Well-established professional network within the affinity, insurance, and related industry sectors.
- Ability to balance technical excellence with commercial objectives in a client-focused environment.
Regional & Cultural Experience
- Proven experience working in multicultural and multinational environments; direct, on-the-ground experience in Asia is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable operating in a regional role with diverse stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.

Language & Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is mandatory.
- Relevant professional qualifications or certifications (e.g. ACII, ANZIIF, or equivalent) are highly regarded.
