A unique opportunity has arisen for a Learning & Development Manager to join Tokio Marine Kiln, a highly successful and reputable Lloyd’s insurer with offices in London and Singapore.
This is a broad and varied role, with responsibility for learning, development, performance management and talent and succession across the business. Leading a team of two, you will design and implement practical solutions that will enable our employees to thrive in their careers, and enable TMK to develop and retain our talented employees.
Responsibilities will include; designing and delivering (either in-house or via third parties) a broad spectrum of learning programmes and team building activities covering business, personal and technical skills, as well as leadership, management and early careers skills. You’ll partner closely with the business, working with management teams and HR colleagues to provide tailor made solutions and manage learning communications and systems.
You will oversee our end-to-end performance management processes, reviewing and updating where necessary to ensure best practice and support management and employees with performance management tools and training.
You will also design and develop our talent management and succession practices alongside our Head of HR, implementing initiatives to stretch and develop our pipeline of future leaders.
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated learning professional, who cares about what they do and is motivated by developing the careers of their colleagues. You will have experience of learning design and delivery, with expertise in learning management systems and ideas to enhance our offerings further. Naturally, you will be a great communicator and will be commercially focussed, possessing excellent ability to partner effectively with stakeholders, understand learning needs and deliver appropriate solutions. Whilst experience in performance management and talent and succession is desirable, it is not essential.
