Role Description - 12 month FTC
Working across a portfolio of pet insurance brands, including the market leader Petplan you will lead data strategy and set the vision for the team to deliver specialised, scalable analytics capabilities across the Company in order to drive customer acquisition, centricity and loyalty.
Set data strategy and presents to the wider business and leads strategic data driven initiatives to influence Trading Board/Board levels.
Interprets information to generate insight or manage business processes, historically or in real time.
Influences strategic data initiatives including Enterprise Business Intelligence (EBI).
Ensures effective customer segmentation and split-testing is implemented effectively.Take responsibility of key governance and regulatory reporting
Delivers a comprehensive programme of customer research across the Pet portfolio, including market research and a voice of customer feedback programme.
Creates a high-performance team culture and sets Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Manages project funding and project deliverables and is effective in Supplier Management.
Expert in data language, processing and visualisation tools
Experience of sponsoring data-driven project developments.
Used to working with Big Data/Business Intelligence Platforms.
Experience of effective relational database design and database management.
Interpreting effective customer segmentation and customer profiling.
Extensive experience in a client-facing leadership role with responsibility for managing a team of direct reports.
Effective in managing relationships with external third-party suppliers.
Confident approach to influencing internal/external stakeholders.
Comfortable sponsoring cross-team projects/change initiatives from a business perspective.
Driving the successful implementation and measurement of test strategy.
Familiar with legislation relating to use and storage of data.
Understanding of statistical principles.
Awareness of lead generation/conversion model.
Strong leadership/influencing capabilities.
Preferably degree educated in a numerate subject such as: Maths, Science, Engineering, IT or Psychology with statistical focus or relevant experience.
