Overview
Gallagher Re is looking for a RFP Executive to join our Global RFP Function. This role encompasses the project management of both Defensive and Offensive RFPs, developing reports and presentations and materials to meet prospects needs. You will also be responsible for maintaining and expanding a library of pre-written content whilst providing critical support to RFP Teams across the business across all aspects of the RFP cycle. Supporting and implementing the Global RFP strategy whilst adhering to the overall company objectives.
How you'll make an impact
Your Role:
- Project management of RFPs from start to finish; from credentials statements, through to pitching materials. Supporting RFP Teams working to define win strategies and project plans.
- Ability to lead multiple RFPs and projects simultaneously; prioritising as required and always keeping the business and teams appraised.
- Build a strong internal network with Broking and central teams from IT to Legal and Compliance. Ensuring our common and be-spoke RFP responses are fully compliant, accurate with our procedures and policies, and delivered to time.
- Ensure all materials produced are in line with corporate brand guidelines.
- Use of MS office to build templates, frameworks and workable draft documents to be used throughout the RFP process.
- Liaise with the business to collect information and data, copy-write responses to questions, coordinate and present the materials in line with the requirements of the RFP and in the most impactful way.
- Managing draft reports and content with a clear audit trail, proofreading and editing copy.
- Work with internal and external design resources to project lead the formatting, design and print process.
- Clearly handle business expectations at all times, by communicating progress, keeping the business up to speed, and educating the business on our processes and appropriate timeframes.
- Deliver a ‘outstanding’ service to your clients - the business - by being professional, punctual and proactive.
- Complete all corporate e-learn and required training modules on time.
About you
Your Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications:
- Degree qualified or similar experience
- 3 years Content Management / RFP support experience within a corporate environment, ideally professional services or B2B
- A foundational knowledge of major classes of reinsurance or willingness to learn.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the company, including senior and executive management.
- Results-driven approach.
- Outstanding project management skills.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Establishes rapport easily with colleagues and gains trust.
- Working within structured project methodology and reporting.
- Prior experience in working with offshore based teams.
- Ability to meet consistently high quality standards whilst handling a variety of projects and timeline.
- Advanced MS Office expertise.
- Desktop publishing / Adobe CC skills advantageous
- Experience with workflow / project management software
- Strong written English and proofreading skills
- Eligible to work in the UK.
