Are you a talented wordsmith with a passion for creativity and brand representation? Look no further! Gallagher's Art Department, our in-house creative agency, is seeking a Copywriter to join our dynamic team. As a Copywriter, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and communicating our brand identity.
We are searching for an exceptional writer who possesses a flair for developing tone of voice, crafting creative strategies, and collaborating effectively. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of writing in diverse styles across various channels. Your ideas will be innovative, strategic, and consistently aligned with our brand.
Working under the guidance of the Global Creative Director and in close collaboration with Art Directors, Account and Project Managers, and our internal clients, you will contribute to the development of conceptual ideas, voice, and tone. Your expertise in language will bring these concepts to life, effectively engaging our target audience.
As a Copywriter at Gallagher's Art Department, you will have the opportunity to regularly present your creative work and articulate your rationale to the creative team. We value your ability to effectively communicate the thinking behind your ideas.
How you'll make an impact
- Collaborate creatively with core creative team including Art Directors and Account team in developing creative strategy, creative concepts, and ideas behind the work.
- Develop promotional, short form copy for various channels based on a creative brief and source content including headlines, promotional copy, video scripts, email, web and social media copy.
- Develop voice and tone for materials specific to target audience and aligned to Gallagher brand.
- Understand user experience and concepts of usability, always putting the user/customer at the center of their thinking.
- Managing multiple projects and maintaining workflow amid often tight, changing deadlines.
- May provide guidance to other team members but has no formal supervisory responsibility.
About you
- Minimum 5 years marketing copywriting experience.
- Experience writing for the insurance / financial or benefits consulting industries to a B2B (business to business) audience.
- Proficiency in presenting and talking through creative work.
- Knowledge of digital content and SEO strategy with ability to edit content for the web is a plus.
- Knowledge of graphic arts is a plus.
- Must have exceptional written and oral skills and be able to interface with all levels of management.
