The Role
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic administrator to support our Accident and Health Underwriting team. This is an excellent role suitable for an individual looking to further their career in Insurance.
Responsibilities will include:
- Ensure that all underwriting submissions, new and renewal are saved to DMS
- Conducting sanctions clearance on applicable risks via Canopius Compliance
- Pre-bind quality assurance (PBQA) of market reform contracts, using Wordsensa.
- Reviewing subscribe entry for each risk following data entry by WNS
- Monitor credit control and proactively manage aged debt via internal and external channels
- Binder administration including bordereaux management on Intrali and working directly with PRO, DUA liaison, EPI monitoring, and assisting in the preparation of data for actuarial/underwriter review at renewal
- Assisting Claims when policy information required
- Creating renewal lists for each underwriter
- Liaising with external stakeholders such as brokers, and reinsurance brokers when necessary
- Assist underwriters/managers in creating ad hoc reports drawing on underwriting database
- Ensuring that Underwriting Management Dashboard accurately reflects key performance indicators on behalf of respective underwriting team.
Skills and experience:
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and numeracy
- Demonstrable problem solving abilities
- Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word / Excel / Powerpoint /Power BI).
- Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders through written and verbal communication
- Highly motivated, team player capable of working on own initiative.
- Ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Ability to accurately deal with high volume of data entry/processing
