We have the opportunity for a Programme Manager and AI Transformation Lead to join our Business Transformation department here at Tokio Marine Kiln. You will report to the Head of Business Transformation, working closely with internal and external Business Stakeholders, users, IT partners and 3rd party vendors to appropriately manage and deliver strategic programmes and projects including transformational AI/Gen AI delivery.
The role includes responsibility for:
- Leading and managing the set-up of a new programme, with clearly defined programme and projects’ objectives, scope, budget and timeframe.
- Leverage skills in AI/Gen AI and data analytics in delivering AI transformation programmes and projects.
- Working closely with Executive Sponsors, Business Sponsors, Project Portfolio Manager, and IT stakeholders to ensure programmes and project are mobilised and structured appropriately (including project initiation documentation, project plan, RAID & RACI logs and budget).
- Managing the programme’s budget and timing including monitoring the expenditure and costs against benefits that are realised as the programme progresses.
- Ensuring maximum efficiency in the allocation of resources and skills within the project portfolio.
- Managing third party contributions including IT vendors, SI partners, 3rd party vendors to the programme.
- Managing the dependencies and interfaces between projects and other Programmes/projects.
- Managing risks and propose mitigating plans to deliver on the programme’s successful outcome.
- In collaboration with the Executive Sponsors and Business Sponsors, managing communications and change management with stakeholders across departments.
- Producing regular reporting for the sponsor and for the various governance committees as required.
- Ensuring the integrity of the programme – inwardly on the internal consistency of the programme, and outwardly in its coherence with infrastructure planning, interfaces with other programmes, and corporate technical and specialist standards.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience successfully delivering complex projects, including major programmes of work. They must also have a proven track record in successfully delivering AI/Gen AI operational and transformation projects, including automation of complex processes and data & analytics. Good knowledge of technical change management principles and tools such as MSP and PRINCE2 would also be beneficial. Knowledge of the Lloyd’s market is highly desirable, as is multi territory exposure (US and/or Asia). We are looking for someone who is adaptable and highly motivated, who has excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
