The Role
- Provide oversight of outsourced services in relation to bordereaux processing and data quality.
- Act as an initial point of contact for all bordereaux matters from both inhouse and outsourced team members, escalating to the Bordereaux Manager where applicable.
- Assist with the development of validations to ensure data quality standards are maintained.
- Assist with ensuring the continued timely throughput, high quality and accuracy of data handled by the outsourced bordereaux operations function.
- Provide support to the Bordereaux Manager as required in matters relating to bordereaux processing and data quality.
Responsibilities will include:
- Take responsibly for quality control, audit and query resolution arising from the bordereaux process – outsourced.
- Produce, monitor and complete the bordereaux processing monitoring and oversight of MI reports.
- Analyse/interpret and challenge the weekly and monthly bordereaux processing statistics provided by the outsource team
- Oversee the transition of bordereaux to Intrali and relevant market systems.
- Act as a key team contact to resolve issues that prevent the processing of Bordereaux within agreed timelines.
- Maintain ownership of the identification of data quality issues in line with Lloyd's standards.
- Liaise directly with Brokers and coverholders ensuring robust communication is maintained with Underwriting teams.
- Ensure outsource provider maintains up to date and accurate process and training documentation.
- Challenge and develop existing MI and report to internal stakeholders, coverholders, brokers and DCA’s to promptly notify relevant parties of any perceived new risks or failures.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong technical knowledge of bordereaux analysis and management – Intrali knowledge is essential.
- Lloyd’s and London Market experience across multiple business lines
- Excellent communication skills, across multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Intermediate Excel knowledge and skills in other Microsoft Office products in order to support MI and Reporting
- Knowledge of Lloyd's Delegated Authority business
