As a leading B2B insurance company we are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team as we build out our digital capabilities.
As a Digital Marketing Executive, you will help craft and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies that enhance our online footprint, elevate brand recognition, and funnel traffic to the website. A significant portion of your role is dedicated to web management—curating and overseeing online content, refreshing product catalogues and search terms, all while harnessing the power of Google Analytics to decode online customer behaviour and fine-tune our website for peak performance.
Your expertise will extend into the realms of SEO and PPC, where you’ll sharpen the business’ websites search engine presence and fuel web traffic, in addition to orchestrating and analysing conversion experiments.
You’ll spearhead innovative digital campaigns across various platforms, including social media, email marketing, and other paid media avenues such as display advertising.
- Creation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with target market
- Launch and optimise paid search and social campaigns to increase company and brand awareness
- Ownership of SEO efforts
- Monitor the ongoing company presence on social media
- Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update website
- Collaborate with designers to improve user experience
- Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.)
- Track and analyse engagement metrics, such as click and open rates, and test hypotheses to improve engagement
- Closely follow top-level business targets, including increasing customer retention and sales lead conversion
- Producing weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting to deliver growth across marketing channels and strategic priorities
- Regular liaison with the external digital marketing agencies, aligning and guiding them on opportunities to deliver performance
- Support the running of our paid social marketing, through optimised investment and review of ad performance
- Support on delivering clear investment targets across paid channels, ensuring spend & efficiency is aligned to forecasts
- Proven experience as Digital Marketing Executive or similar role
- Experience with B2B social media, Google Adwords and email campaigns and SEO/SEM
- A working knowledge of ad serving tools
- Strong knowledge of web analytics tools
- Skills and experience in creative content writing
- Excellent experience in website management; using HTML and CSS to make changes to websites as needed - this is essential
- You will have previous experience in implementing digital marketing strategies and have a broad range of digital skills
- You will be a social media guru, understanding the different channels and enjoy creating different content for different purposes
- You thrive in a busy environment and love to manage multiple projects
- You are always keen to learn and ready to immerse yourself in a technical subject to find a creative marketing solution
