The Kennedys IQ team are responsible for the development of the IQ Platform, an online application designed to facilitate the insurance claims processing a combination of intelligent data capture, workflow augmented with legal expertise, as well as analytics including machine learning and natural language processing. We aim to lead the market across the globe at the intersection of technology, insurance and law.
We are looking an experienced Technical Service Delivery Manager who has successfully managed client-facing services in a Azure estate.
Please note. This is not an Azure Architecture or DevOps role. You will not be designing or building Azure assets. This role is for a Service Delivery Manager whose previous experience is with Azure-based services. This role is also not related to Customer Support or Issue Management.
The team is spread across many locations London, Chelmsford, Manchester and Kerala. This position can be based in London or Chelmsford with flexibility to work from other locations or home from time to time based on agreement with the development manager.
Key responsibilities
- Measure, report and seek to improve all performance related metrics across our platforms, applications, and services within our Azure estate
- Manage the policies, practices and processes that underpin the Information Security Strategy
- Contriobute to the design and on-going implementation of the Security Architecture
- Respond to client and customer RFIs and Audit reports.
- Partner with Product Managers/Owners to deliver high quality products and services
- Participate in security audits and RFIs
- Attend internal change advisory boards meetings
- Documentation of solutions, processes and performance metrics to support SLAs
- Maintain a high level of technical understanding through diagramming and documentation.
Required experience
- 3+ years in a Service Delivery role for client-facing services based in Azure
- Knowledge of ITL concepts and preferrably certified to some level
- Experience with APM and reporting against SLAs
- Experience with Azure Security Centre / Microsoft Defender for Cloud
- Experience working with Change Advisory Boards
- Experience with managing technical and security audits
- Experience with pen testing
- Ability to write Powershell scripts to manage Azure assets and to query the Azure REST API
- Azure certification required - minimum Associate level (Expert preferred) in one of Administration, Security or Solutions Architecture.
