Overview
What a fantastic few years we have had here at Buck! Significant growth in terms of revenue and headcount, and with an acquisition with A J Gallagher imminent, that growth and success is showing no signs of slowing down.
Off the back of that growth, our Consultancy teams are growing, and with that; we have a rare opportunity to join the DC Pension Consultancy part of the business in an Associate Consultant role. This role is ideal for anyone with client management, relationship building, consultancy-type experience relating to Corporate Pensions, who wants to grow and develop and advance their career.
Due to client locations, we're specifically looking for applicants to be based in the South East; working 1 or 2 days a week in our London office and then having the flexibility to WFH the rest of the time.
Within this role, you will be allocated a portfolio of clients to manage and also appointed as the Support Consultant on a number of clients managed by Senior Consultants within the team.
How you'll make an impact
- Delivery of agreed scope of services for clients within the portfolio, with objectives to maintain and grow client relationships and revenue.
- Keep clients updated with changes to legislation, trends and best practice, to identify opportunities for our clients and their employees.
- Offer clients information, guidance and assistance, as required, on all aspects of their DC Pension and Financial Wellbeing strategy and scheme design, including automatic enrolment compliance and other legislative matters, together with ongoing oversight of their arrangements.
- Identify the need for and complete regular provider and investment reviews, preparing the recommendation report for peer review by a Senior Consultant.
- Establish and manage Governance Committees for our clients, attend regular governance meetings, prepare meeting papers in advance, agree minutes and follow up on all action points.
- Agree, design and implement communication strategies with our clients to engage their employees with their DC Pension and wider Financial Wellbeing strategies, including preparation of communication materials, delivery of group presentations and webinars, and guidance to individual employees.
- Respond to queries from clients, their employees, and their pension and benefit providers.
About You
Progression with the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (QCF Level 4) ideally, or a commitment to study for professional qualifications as a minimum.
