Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Bristol Office:
Commercial Client Executive Lead
We have a fantastic opportunity to lead a highly successful and growing team of Client Executives and manage a portfolio of corporate clients. This is the perfect role for a client service and growth focussed insurance Executive with team leader / management experience or someone looking to progress their career into management.
This role focusses on leading a team of Client Executives tasked with growth and retention of an existing book of commercial insurance clients through strategic relationship management and pipeline development. This role will be also require the successful candidate to manage and grow their own client portfolio.

We will rely on you to:
- Effectively mentor and manage a team of Client Executives to ensure best practices are followed and excellent client retention is maintained
- Identify individual development goals and opportunities to support learning and career progression for team members
- Manage a personal portfolio of predominantly large, complex and/or multinational clients
- Support and encourage the team’s sales activity in order to achieve new business growth targets
- Proactively work with internal and external networks to build relationships with prospective new clients and achieve personal new business targets
- Lead and sign off programme design activities
- Produce budget proposals and negotiate fees
- Host client and insurer meetings in conjunction with specialist broker and client handling teams
What you need to have:
- Significant Commercial insurance experience
- Previous people management or supervisory experience preferred
- Demonstrable experience dealing with challenging situations and individuals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Negotiating and Influencing skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills

- Dynamic with extensive client facing experience
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required
- ACII qualified (Or working towards) preferred
