Salary: £29,000-£33,000 depending on experience, plus excellent benefits

The opportunity:
Zurich Resilience Solutions (ZRS) UK has an opportunity for a Risk & Governance Coordinator to join our Operations Practice. This in an important role in ensuring first line of defence to operational and strategic risks.
Working closely with colleagues you will help ensure our policies, processes, and internal controls are embedded and working as intended. This will give you exposure to a range of risks and controls in health and safety, business continuity, data governance, as well as operational and strategic risk management.
To do this you will coordinate and assist in the delivery of the annual plan, including implementing continuous improvement opportunities to improve processes and embed our risk and governance activities.
Not only will this exciting role enable you to work with the ZRS UK Leadership Team, but it will also give you the opportunity to work with ZRS stakeholders in the UK and globally, as well as broad exposure to second line of defence functions such as Risk and Compliance.

What will you be doing?
• Coordinate the delivery of the annual risk and governance plan
• Coordinate regular governance activities within ZRS to ensure compliance with internal and Group policies and requirements
• Identify and implement improvements in ZRS’s approach to risk and governance
• Support continuous improvement activities on key controls and processes
• Support ZRS colleagues to ensure appropriate risk controls are followed
• Coordinate and maintain reports, documentation or systems that support decision making by the ZRS Leadership Team, and other Committees on risk and governance matters
• Coordinate and participate in the update of management systems and relevant audits
• Support with ensuring that Zurich’s data protection standards and controls are being adhered to
• Monitor and report on the quality assurance of third-party vendors
• Responsible for posting documentation in central repository
• Complete sanctions checks for new customers when requested
What are we looking for?
• Experience in a risk, assurance, or governance environment
• Ability to support the management of a range of different risk types
• Awareness of information governance processes and controls
• Good reporting and communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail
• Implementing continuous improvements to key internal controls or processes
• Able to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within ZRS and other business functions
• Organised and able to work to tight reporting deadlines
