We are seeking a talented individual to join our Public Sector Client Executive team at Marsh. This role will be based in Reading. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This role offers the flexibility of being based anywhere in the country. We offer remote/hybrid working options, servicing a portfolio of housing clients in your geographical remit. Occasional office visits with the wider team in Reading will be required.
Marsh’s Public Sector team are a leading provider of insurance and risk management services. We have been providing insurance solutions to the sector for over 25 years and operate across the UK with clients ranging in size from those with just a few hundred properties to some of the country’s largest associations.
Our ability to support a diverse array of public sector providers rests on our expertise and experience – one of our key strengths is our people and our skill in identifying individual risk needs, source competitive and appropriate covers, and provide advice and ongoing support.
We will count on you to:
- Manage a portfolio of housing clients
- Identify, and agree strategies for, clients’ risk management, risk financing and insurance needs and objectives
- Lead and sign off insurance programme design activities
- Produce budget proposals and negotiate fees
- Host client and insurer meetings in conjunction with specialist broker and client service teams
- Strive to deliver best practice, market-leading service and solutions for all clients
What you need to have:
- Proven insurance experience preferably Property-Casualty (Combined)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong relationship building and relationship management skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
What makes you stand out:
- Dynamic with previous client facing experience
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required
- Knowledge and understanding of the public sector / social housing sector
What qualifications are preferred but not required?
- Cert CII qualified and working towards ACII is desirable
