Overview

We are in search of an experienced Team Leader to join our developing team of desk based account executives.

We're looking for someone who will help nurture our team to develop & grow, maximise performance every day & ensure our company, team & individual objectives are achieved in order to drive business revenue & structured growth.

How you'll make an impact

Build & maintain relationships with clients, Insurers & fellow employees
Coach & motivate team members to their maximum potential; providing feedback, performance reviews & creating a team environment conductive to optimise performance
Identify training requirements to drive team improvement & increase knowledge
Provide guidance & assist the team with technical & complex queries
Liaise with Operations Director & embed a best practice approach to processes & work streams
Follow appropriate Gallagher Standard Operating Procedures
Maintain constant review & analysis of team workflow including accounts queries & credit control matters
Champion the client experience, ensuring they receive a professional and efficient service.
Administer holiday, sick leave & other time off requests ensuring appropriate staffing levels maintained

About You

Strong people leadership skills – at ease communicating & influencing others
Exceptional problem solving & analytical skills - ability to recognise potential risk & seek advice/escalate where appropriate.
Excellent time management, organisational & administrative skills. The capacity to multitask & work well under pressure.
Experience managing a team – Required
Experience working within the Insurance Industry. Good Knowledge of general insurance including products, service & a good understanding of underlying legal principles & practices – Required
Proficient in MS Office – Required
Eligible to work in the UK – Required
Holding or working towards one of the Chartered Insurance Institute qualifications - Desirable
Previous experience of Acturis - Desirable
