What the day will look like

Based within Griffiths & Armour’s Professional Risks Division, the role will consist of:

Reading and reviewing contracts (largely construction contracts) for Griffiths & Armour’s clients.
Providing advice, assistance and recommendations to Griffith & Armour’s clients in relation to those contracts.
Providing support to client facing brokers within the business.
Building relationships with clients.
Getting involved in drafting, developing and delivering risk management literature, statistics and presentations.
Carrying out other duties and jobs which management may, from time to time, reasonably require.

Full training will be provided, but legal experience is a requirement.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organisation skills (including the ability to effectively manage own workload)
Disciplined, conscientious approach to work
Ability to manage time well and prioritise tasks
Strong attention to detail
Strong legal experience and/or legal qualifications
Ability to deal with sensitive and/or confidential information appropriately
Proficient Microsoft Office
Excellent team player
Experienced in a client facing role
Strong interpersonal skills
A demonstrable interest in construction law and/or the construction industry
Knowledge of legal/engineering language
Business awareness
