Marketing Manager - 12 month FTC

Salary up to £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

FT 35 hours per week

London Hybrid - Monthly travel will be involved. As the project increases the need for travel will likely increase.

Following Saga's recent announcement to partner with Ageas in early 2026, you will be responsible for managing the overall Marketing transition plan working alongside our new partner.

This role will be required to manage the planning, execution and delivery of all Marketing workstreams, including the marketing requirements that are within the Data and MI workstream.

You will need to have a full understanding of digital quote and buy journeys, transactional and marketing communications and will be working towards aligning Marketing processes such as brand alignment, change, approval, risk management and measurement and analysis.

You’ll be working closely alongside Brand, Product, IT, Technical and Digital teams to ensure continuous and consistent customer journeys and develop both transition and ongoing ways of working with the partner.

This role will report into the Marketing Director, working matrix style with the Head of Customer Value Management. You will be supported by a Marketing Lead and will work closely with the Digital Lead.

A knowledge of Insurance Marketing would be advantageous

Role Responsibility

Main point of contact for Insurance Marketing in the partnership programme; attending all required project meetings both within Saga and alongside Ageas
Definition of as-is, transition and to-be marketing processes: Customer acquisition through to quote and buy journey, transactional communications, In-life communications, and operational processes (e.g. marketing change process, approvals process and risk management, approach to Consumer Duty, marketing planning, and forecasting and MI)
Supporting decisions on who is going to be responsible for what process, transitioning of selected marketing processes and aligning the remaining processes, ensuring a consistent, unified customer experience
Support setting up communications processes with any selected third-party providers and, if necessary, establishing new provider contracts.
Defining and delivering the to-be Customer Duty reporting process and associated data and technology for Outcome 3, Consumer Understanding
Working alongside Data workstreams to define and deliver technology changes and data flows necessary to support the agreed Marketing process changes
Defining and delivering the changes to the bi-directional data flows between marketing systems and Single Customer View to ensure accurate and timely communications

The Ideal Candidate

4-6 years’ experience in project delivery or transferable role
Experience of effectively leading and developing a team
Experience in Insurance and Marketing environments (an advantage)
Experience in effective communications at all levels including Directors and Senior Management
Project Management

Organised and strategic thinker
Excellent communicator
Stakeholder management
Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
