Allied World has an exciting opportunity for students with a Business, Risk Management or Insurance interest looking to increase their understanding of the insurance industry. We have 4 opportunities available in our 4-week summer 2025 paid Internship Program beginning on 7^th July 2025. Our structured program combines experiential learning, training and hands on work to provide interns with the foundation for a future career in financial services. The intern positions will be located full time in our main office in the Walkie Talkie Fenchurch Street.

Interns will be assigned to a primary team for the whole of the programme. In addition, interns will learn about each of our critical service functions including actuarial, claims, operations, and underwriting. After successful completion of our four-week program, we expect our interns to have a wider understanding of the insurance industry and the professional workplace as a whole.

Successful applicants will be placed within the following areas of the business so an interest in any of the following areas would be useful:

· Claims

· Operations

· Actuarial

· Underwriting

· Finance

Program Components:

· Understanding of Allied World, our history and our products

· Understand basics of underwriting for a number of classes

· Learn and interact with other parts of the organization: claims, actuarial, operations, compliance, legal, IT, risk management

Qualifications

Person Specification:

· Strong written and oral communication and time management skills

· An enthusiastic individual who is committed to a career in the insurance industry

· Role would be ideal for a final year student who is keen to obtain insurance experience.

· Proficient IT Skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

· Ability to be in the office for the entire 4-week period based at 20 Fenchurch Street, EC3M 3BY
