For example, analytical thinking, customer service, and risk assessment can be really useful no matter where you end up! Plus, you can gain industry-specific knowledge and certifications that will look great on your CV or LinkedIn profile.
Network
Use the opportunity to build your professional network. You’ll meet loads of people in the insurance industry, and those connections can be a big help down the road. Also, try to find a mentor at the company who can give you advice and share their insights.
Gain experience
Getting hands-on experience is invaluable. It helps you understand the ins and outs of the industry and having that experience on your CV or LinkedIn profile can make you stand out to future employers, even if this isn’t your final destination.
