Litigation Assistant/Executive – Disease Team

Kennedys is looking for an experienced Litigation Assistant/Executive to join our expanding Disease team. Following a period of significant organic growth, this is an exciting opportunity to become part of a high-performing, forward-thinking practice working on some of the most complex and high-profile disease claims in the market.
This role offers the chance to build your expertise within a collaborative national team known for its technical excellence, innovative approach, and strong client partnerships. You'll manage a varied, high-quality caseload and contribute to work that genuinely shapes outcomes for major insurers and corporate clients.
About the Team
Our national personal injury practice operates across seven UK offices, handling complex and often high-value cases led by Partners recognised as leaders in their field. Many of our matters involve cross-border quantum investigations, supported by our international network.
We pride ourselves on delivering modern, efficient, and client-focused solutions. This includes leveraging our in-house R&D capability and award-winning suite of legal technology and process innovations — ensuring our teams can work smarter and deliver exceptional results.

- Corporate clients
- Third-Party Administrators (TPAs)
- Brokers
Types of Cases You'll Work On
- Asbestos-related disease
- Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL)
- Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS)
- Employer's Liability / Public Liability (EL/PL)
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years' experience handling defendant personal injury claims within a law firm*
- A proven ability to manage a caseload of fast-track and DCP claims
- Experience engaging directly with clients and building strong working relationships
*Experience level is a guideline only — we welcome applications from candidates with more or less experience who can demonstrate the required skills.
