Digital Content Creator/Copywriter: We are seeking a talented Digital Content Creator to develop engaging and compelling content for various platforms, including blogs, websites, social media, and email campaigns. This role uniquely combines the art of content creation and the precision of copywriting. You’ll generate valuable content that resonates with audiences, while crafting persuasive messages that drive specific actions. Balancing these two aspects requires a versatile skill set to effectively communicate our brand's voice and achieve strategic business objectives.
As a Digital Content Creator, you will also craft intuitive messaging for key transactional journeys such as the Quote and Buy process and Customer Portal experiences.Your ability to interpret and articulate our brand voice for both Rias and Ageas will be crucial in delivering best-in-class experiences for our customers.
Key Responsibilities as a Digital Content Creator/Copywriter:
- Oversee all customer-facing copy across owned channels and journeys, including product landing pages and claims processes.
- Interpret and articulate our brand voice for both Rias and Ageas, to build trust and recognition with our target audiences and deliver best in class digital experiences.
- Create customer copy for new journeys and projects, working closely with Agile product teams.
- Collaborate with the Digital Analytics and Conversion Rate Optimisation teams to develop copy optimisation tests aimed at improving digital journey success rates.
- Generate fresh content and copy to enhance customer engagement and support brand content initiatives.
- Ensure a consistent and considered approach and tone across all customer journeys, from initial engagement to task-focused journeys such as renewals or claims.
- Proactively seek opportunities to refresh and improve digital copy to align with business objectives and comply with Consumer Duty regulations.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in digital content creation.
- Conduct thorough research to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Edit and proofread content to maintain high editorial standards.
- Optimize content for SEO to increase web traffic and engagement.
- Create and update paid media copy (e.g., PPC ads, social paid ads, other digital media, campaign landing pages) as needed in line with digital marketing campaigns and plans.
- Challenge agency partners to produce best-in-class, compelling copy for our brand and marketing communications. Implement an agency training programme to ensure ongoing alignment and best practice.
- Ensure copy on key distribution platforms (e.g., price comparison websites) aligns with brand and product messaging hierarchy and tone of voice, supporting both brand and commercial objectives.
- Work closely with multiple senior stakeholders to gain buy-in and approval of recommended copy approaches within a Financial Promotions and Brand Governance framework.
Knowledge skills & experience you will need as Digital Content Creator/Copywriter:
- Experience in writing and editing copy, predominantly for digital channels.
- Ability to understand and implement the principles of the Consumer Duty
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Customer-focused and inquisitive about how customers think and react.
- Understanding of Financial Services / Insurance products and working in a regulated industry (desired).
- Experience working with Agile and scrum teams (desired).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with good organisation and time management.
- Comfortable identifying and escalating risk where necessary.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), basic HTML, and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all content produced.
