A bit about the job

You’ll join our Finance Transformation team and help shape how we work. Your mission? To make our processes simpler, faster and more effective. As a key member of our Finance Transformation team, you’ll help define the vision for Operational Excellence and make it real. Working closely with the Head of Process Excellence, you’ll embed a standardised framework across global Finance teams – one that’s outcome-driven and designed to simplify processes and strengthen controls.

You’ll use proven methods like Lean and Six Sigma to spot opportunities for improvement and deliver sustainable change. Acting as a champion for continuous improvement, you’ll coach teams on practical tools and techniques, building capability across the function. Your work will shape high-profile initiatives aligned to our North Star strategy and help embed a culture of Operational Excellence across Aviva.

Skills and experience we’re looking for

An understanding of Finance processes and controls (nice to have)
Experience in process excellence practices such as Lean Six Sigma
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills (written and verbal)
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate strategy into execution
Comfortable working in a complex, matrix environment with multiple priorities

Starting salary between Regional: £35,000 - £45,000 / London: £40,000 – £55,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Bonus opportunity 8% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
