We’re currently recruiting for a Product / Proposition Lead Manager to join our Individual Retirement Solutions team.

You will support and at times leads activity in relation to the development, delivery, deployment, or ongoing management of the Phoenix Group's Products & Propositions, ensuring that they continue to meet customer/employer/adviser needs, all regulatory requirements are met, risks are effectively managed, and propositions deliver the business commercial objectives.

You must be able to work effectively and build relationships with others across the business and may work in or lead cross-functional teams.

You may work in one of several teams across proposition, for example:

UK Proposition team
Product team
Proposition Deployment team.

The activities that a role holder will be involved in will depend on which team they are working in and the emphasis on the different competencies of the role may vary between teams.

Key Responsibilities

As a Product / Proposition Lead Manager for Individual Annuities, you will be part of a small team responsible for the development and end to end management of Individual Annuity products, ensuring they continue to meet the needs of customers, behave as expected and meet the commitments we make to internal and external stakeholders.

You will be responsible for ensuring our products and propositions:

Meet the needs of customers, clients, and intermediaries in target markets on an ongoing basis.

Deliver fair value for customers resulting in good customer outcomes.

Deliver financial performance in line with expectations.

Support the delivery of the wider business strategy and commercial objectives across all channels.

Adhere to risk appetite and regulatory/legislative requirements.

Adhere to all relevant policies, ensure risks are managed, and regular governance and reporting is delivered.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

A proven track record in delivering products and propositions within Financial Services.
Experience leading product management and product development within a large Insurance Company.
Have a deep understanding of key current and future UK regulations including Consumer Duty and its expectations on a Product & Proposition Team.
An in depth understanding of the Individual Annuity market, including strong technical and regulatory knowledge and an in depth understanding of the key risks and challenges associated.
Experience ensuring that propositions continue to deliver on all promises made to customers, deliver good customer outcomes, operate in line with definitions and remain suitable for target markets.
Strong commercial acumen.
You’ll be an outstanding leader of people who takes people with them on a journey.
Able to develop and maintain communication and relationships at all levels of the Group across different business channels, with the ability to influence and persuade.
