Convex Insurance cares about working smarter together, which is why we use an outsourcing model to create a flexible and agile working environment. As the Senior Operations Control Manager, you help ensure our outsourced and third-party processes and systems operate within a well-established governance model across the entire Convex Group.
From a day-to-day perspective, this means you manage operations within the Outsourcing and Third-Party Management team while collaborating closely with the wider business and second line of defence.
Your aim will be to add value and assist in decision-making relating to third-party and outsourced services. You’ll be seen as a trusted advisor and bring your robust understanding of third-party and outsourcer oversight, governance, risk and control as well as your opinion on how we can improve operational control and oversight processes while being fully compliant with international regulatory requirements and frameworks.
Relationship management skills are critical to success, as is an ability to synthesise change requirements and prioritise recommendations based on a comprehensive understanding of quality, risk, timeliness and cost dynamics.
