Overview
- Supporting new client acquisition and assisting with client retention
- Lead in the coordination of meetings and calls with prospective clients and insurers to support the onboarding process
- Work closely with the new business consultants to ensure that all client needs are met promptly
- Deliver exceptional client onboarding experience to new clients, supporting the handover and transition to the client owners
- Supporting existing clients with change of key contacts by building and maintaining client relationships and ensuring our ways of working are embedded from the start
How you'll make an impact
Client Liaison and Onboarding Support:
- Serve as the main contact for clients during onboarding, addressing queries and providing solutions to enhance satisfaction.
- Guide clients through onboarding, ensuring all documentation is collected and processed correctly.
Coordination of Meetings and Communication:
- Arrange and facilitate meetings between clients and insurers to clarify benefits offerings and processes.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to keep them informed of client progress and any issues.
Structured Handover Process:
- Develop and execute a handover plan from new business to account management, ensuring accurate information transfer.
- Work with the account management team to ensure seamless service delivery and address transition concerns.
Product Knowledge Development:
- Continuously enhance knowledge of employee benefits products to effectively support clients.
- Coach new business coordinators to develop their understanding of products and client management.
Client Service Excellence:
- Monitor client feedback during onboarding to identify service improvement areas.
- Deliver superior service to enhance the overall client experie
About You
- Previous experience in a client-facing role within employee benefits, insurance, or financial services, preferably supporting SMEs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving client issues.
- Experience in negotiating with providers and managing SLAs effectively.
- Familiarity with employee benefits products and regulations in the UK market.
- Experience in coaching or mentoring team members.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines.
- High level of proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
