We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Integration Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software development principles and methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively, strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The role reports to our AVP, Enterprise Architect and Integrations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Microsoft .NET Framework and .NET Core.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Assist in maintaining code quality, organization, and automation.
- Develop and implement RESTful services and microservices architectures.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay updated with the latest industry technologies, frameworks, patterns and services
Your skills and abilities should include:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in .NET development, specifically with .NET version 6 and above. Extensive experience with C# and ASP.NET Core.
- Strong understanding of the Python programming language, including core concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including but not limited to Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, S3, RDS, SQS.
- Skilled in using Docker for containerization, Kubernetes for orchestration, and Helm for managing Kubernetes applications.
- Database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Redshift, Aurora, DataBricks, SnowFlake, including experience with database design and optimization.
- Strong understanding of and hands-on experience in designing and implementing MicroService architectures.
- Expertise in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Proficient in using Azure DevOps for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
