We’re looking for a Catastrophe Analyst to join our Specialty Catastrophe Analytics team in London. You’ll focus on Marine & Energy, Terrorism, and other Specialty lines, working on global accounts and developing innovative risk solutions.

How you'll make an impact
- Use catastrophe models to assess risk for client portfolios.
- Analyse client data and portfolio structures to create tailored risk solutions.
- Collaborate with clients, reinsurers, brokers, and actuaries on model interpretation and portfolio management.
- Develop and share new service offerings with internal and external partners.
- Provide real-time analysis of natural disasters and post-event support to clients.
- Stay updated on model revisions and evaluate their impact.
About You
- You’ve got a degree in a numerate or hazard-related subject.
- You’ve worked in the London or global insurance markets and understand the (re)insurance business.
- You’re skilled in using catastrophe models like RMS or AIR.
- You understand the science behind natural hazards and risk models.
- You’re creative and enjoy developing bespoke technical solutions.
- You’ve got strong IT skills, ideally with programming experience (e.g. SQL, VBA, R).
- You’re quick to process and interpret data.
