Are you looking to start your legal career as a Paralegal in a fast-paced and dynamic legal environment? We’re expanding our market-leading Fraud team within CSG and are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Paralegal to join our specialist Motor Fraud team.
Our Fraud team is a multi-award-winning team, known for its proactive and innovative approach to defending complex insurance fraud claims. We work on a wide range of cases, from early-stage investigations through to litigation, supporting major UK insurers and collaborating with organisations such as IFED and Regional Fraud Teams.
The Role
As a Paralegal, you’ll manage claims involving suspected fraud in motor insurance. This may include staged accidents, exaggerated injuries, false vehicle damage, and inflated hire or repair costs These cases often involve individuals, organised crime groups, or professionals within the claims supply chain. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your legal skills, gain hands-on litigation experience, and build your understanding of fraud cases in a supportive and collaborative environment.
What you'll be doing
Our team manages a broad and challenging caseload of suspected fraudulent claims, acting on behalf of major UK insurers. Your work will involve investigating and defending against a wide spectrum of fraud types—from opportunistic individual claims to complex, organised fraud rings. You’ll play a key role in identifying fraud indicators, developing case strategies, and delivering commercially focused legal advice that supports our clients’ anti-fraud objectives.
You will take ownership of a caseload of predominantly litigated claims, all with fraud concerns. You’ll work across multiple clients under Delegated and Non-Delegated authority agreements, with the support of experienced leaders. You will:
- Manage fraud-focused claims with autonomy and precision (with supervision as needed)
- Review documents and helping to identify potential fraud indicators
- Be a trusted point of contact for clients
- Maintain accurate file records, time recording, and meeting KPIs
- Stay sharp with ongoing technical, regulatory development and legal processes, including the Civil Procedure Rules

Previous legal or fraud experience is not essential – full training and support will be provided.
