Salary Range: £28,000 - £42,000 (dependent on experience)

IT Risk Analyst: Ageas are delighted to present an exciting opportunity within IT as an IT Risk Analyst. If you are a critical thinker, with the ability to analyse and evaluate risks, and reach reasoned conclusions by considering evidence and different perspectives.
The IT Risk Analyst will have excellent organisational skills, and will be able to manage multiple relationships with stakeholders of all levels, within IT, and across the wider business.
Here are some of the main responsibilities of the IT Risk Analyst role:
To support first line owners in the appropriate identification, prioritisation, management and reporting of IT Risks and Controls.
To be a designated point of contact for IT Risk Management for the quarterly control evaluation. This includes standard risk requirements such as risk events summaries, policy attestation reporting, control adherence and action monitoring.
To support the preparation of the quarterly functional risk summary report and obtain timely updates from respective owners.
To undertake regular analysis of risk events, identifying trends and making recommendations based upon conclusions.
Skills and experience you need as an IT Risk Analyst:
The jobholder requires a good degree of numeracy with a strong ability to analyse and interpret complex data.
Able to tailor messaging to a variety of audiences with varying levels of technical or risk management knowledge, as well as good negotiation and relationship building skills to be able to coordinate activity across multiple teams.
Proactive and able to work on own initiative.
Familiarity with the working practices and operations of an IT environment.
An understanding of risk management processes, including risk identification and assessment, risk mitigations, and risk incident management.
