Are you a Data Analyst working in consultancy or financial services and seeking a new challenge?
At Gallagher Re, we are dedicated to transforming our technology and data platforms to revolutionise client service. To achieve this vision, we require robust controls for the production, management, and sharing of data across our strategic systems and platforms. This role is crucial in building our long-term capabilities.
The successful candidate will possess a blend of Data Analysis and Business Analyst skills and will collaborate closely with the Data team, as well as colleagues in the Technology and Digital teams, to ensure the successful execution of our strategic roadmap. This collaborative effort is essential for achieving our joint success and realising our vision for the future.
How you'll make an impact
- Scoping and defining strategic projects targeted on delivering our target capabilities e.g. master data management, hub-and-spoke data integrations etc
- Developing more detailed process and data flows to support projects and guide how our business teams will operate
- Undertaking route cause analysis on specific issues as they arise and developing pragmatic options to address
- Leading the execution of projects where the scope/scale is manageable
- Leading resources in our offshore Global Service Centre who are working on data improvement initiatives
About You
- The ideal candidate will have experience gained within a Management Consultancy or Financial Services firm
- An experienced Data Analyst, with Business Analyst skills
- Strong understanding and experience of how technology and data intersect and enable e.g. business growth, efficiencies via automation
- Practical hands-on experience of working within data-orientated environments and technologies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence relevant stakeholders
- Intellectual curiosity with strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- A passion for problem solving with a tight focus on pragmatic solutions
- The ability to use the MS suite to convey complex topics and solutions in simple ways
- Statistical analysis
- Data preparation/cleaning
- Data visualisation and presentation
- Basic programming knowledge
