In this pivotal role, you'll be part of a dynamic new team, delivering cutting-edge Data-Driven Innovation projects across the organization. Your expertise in building, testing, and deploying innovative data solutions will be crucial in translating business requirements into impactful data strategies.
Main Responsibilities as Data Innovation Developer:
·Work on a range of data-driven innovation projects from scope to implementation stage.
·Conduct research and experiments to explore innovative solutions.
·Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to solve their business needs. This will include facilitating and leading initiatives around ideation, designing value propositions, building well formulated hypotheses and rapid experimentation.
·Prototype and develop digital products and solutions to drive innovation within the organization.
·Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
·Utilize SQL for data manipulation, querying, and reporting.
·Hands on building of apps using some of the latest Azure stack and Python frameworks.
·Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and digital innovation.
Skills and experience you need as Data Innovation Developer
·Proven experience in data engineering.
·Knowledge of deploying solutions within Azure Cloud, AWS or GCP
·Experience with Python, Databricks, Snowflake and best practices.
·Hands-on experience in prototyping and deploying data products.
·Understanding of AI and ML techniques and technologies at a high level.
·Desire to stay ahead of emerging technology and digital trends.
·Be a collaborative team player.
·Excellent storytelling skills.
·Possess excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
·Enjoy getting creative around problems that need solving.
·Question assumptions and challenge the status quo.
·Not shy away from failure and constantly seek to learn and improve.
