Kennedys is seeking an Audio Visual Systems Analyst, to join our IT team and be based in our London office. Our Systems Analyst (SA) team is comprised of a globally-distributed group of Systems Analysts that receive work escalated from the Helpdesk and may escalate work to the Infrastructure or Applications Support teams. Although this role will be based in the London office, the role will service all Kennedys users globally.
Team
Our Systems Analyst team is comprised of a globally-distributed group of Systems Analysts who are responsible for providing advanced technical support across multiple regions, ensuring the reliability, security and efficiency of our global IT systems and infrastructure. This role requires working with diverse teams across different time zones, addressing complex technical challenges, and collaborating closely with 1st and 3rd line support, as well as regional IT teams. Although this role will be based in the London office, the role will service all Kennedys users globally.
Key responsibilities
- Global Technical Support:
- To provide support for the Firms AV and video conferencing technologies globally. This includes meeting room technologies including hardware (screens, audio, cabling, Yealink and Polycom components) and software (Teams, Zoom, Webex and others).
- Investigate and propose upgrades and improvements to the quality and capabilities of the technology, to enhance the end user experience.
- Work closely with the other IT teams to evaluate and implement upgrades to VC platforms
- Incident & Problem Management:
- Adhere to firm guidelines in relation to call and incident management and communication.
- Identify trends for common problems and deliver workarounds whilst working with the IT teams to resolve underlying issues.
- System Maintenance & Monitoring:
- Conduct preventative maintenance, developing and completing regular checklists to ensure the operation of the meeting and conference platforms.
- Assist in the testing, implementation and maintenance of systems and applications.
- Utilising ticketing data, identify trends for common problems and deliver workarounds whilst working with the IT Teams to resolve underlying issues.
Required experience
- A minimum of 3 years of IT experience in a professional services environment performing 1st and 2nd line support, specifically with meeting and conferencing technologies (Polycom, Yealink, Crestron, Skype for Business, Zoom, WebEx, etc). To be an expert with Microsoft Teams.
- Understanding of network fundamentals, sufficient to diagnose and assess infrastructure-related issues.
- Knowledge of MS Office (2016/365), Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Knowledge of Remote Access systems and focusing on supporting remotely.
