Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and diligent Governance Analyst to join our Pension Administration team. This role involves assisting with the delivery of internal review, quality control, audit governance, and training within our UK trust-based pension administration business.
How you'll make an impact
As a Governance Analyst, you will play a key role in conducting internal audits on crucial processes to ensure they meet procedural and regulatory standards. This includes performing comprehensive benefit calculation audits to confirm adherence to scheme rules and documentation. You will also identify and suggest areas for process improvement to improve operational efficiency.
In the area of disclosure, you will collaborate with others to regularly review cases, aiming to minimize breaches and ensure that regulatory dates are accurately set across all offices. Your responsibilities will include monitoring errors and omissions, as well as addressing complaints by ensuring timely case processing and implementing preventative measures to address any areas for improvement.
We will look for you to work in partnership with Quality Assurance colleagues throughout the audit process to ensure that all post-audit actions are completed effectively. Moreover, you will identify training and development needs and collaborate with peers to address technical training requirements. This involves supporting the delivery of scripted training sessions and addressing any queries that may arise.
Your role will also involve working within the Pensions Administration quality and competency framework, collaborating Business Governance, and Admin Technical teams to continuously improve service delivery. You will help ensure consistency across Administration locations, chipping in to a cohesive and efficient operational environment.

- Strong analytical skills with a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Confidence to challenge procedures and identify process improvements.
- Proficient in performing and checking complex manual calculations.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to outstanding client service, teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and pension administration systems.
