Senior Analyst, Conduct Risk
Reporting to the Conduct Risk Manager for the Consumer Lines EMEA region the role holder will be accountable for the ongoing development and execution of conduct reporting and analysis to meet business line requirements for the EMEA region, in relation to conduct governance, product and conduct risk for consumer targeted insurance programmes. The role holder will also be accountable for coordinating and collating quarterly conduct information and preparing central management committee reports.
The role plays an essential part of Consumer Lines EMEA’s governance framework by identifying conduct issues and trends in conduct performance information and, through recommendation presented to central and local management, improve controls and customer experience while mitigating risk exposure.
The role also provides support to the administration and management activities relating to the Consumer Lines EMEA governance framework.
The role holder will have regular contact with senior management across EMEA and will be expected to use their skills and experience to influence these key decision makers to implement recommended changes.
The role holder will be adaptable to change, particularly important when applied to priorities and governance frameworks which can, at time, change frequently.
Meeting deadlines is a critical success factor for this role. Effective time management and flexibility are essential personal attributes the role holder must demonstrate.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare management information and reports to agreed timetable. Ensuring quality and accuracy are maintained at all times:

- Review management information and reporting for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare aggregated management information and reporting packs

Provide reporting and analysis to support conduct function activities in relation to:
- Regulatory report submissions
- Appointed representative activity
- Product reviews
- Product modification requests
- Local (country cluster) governance meetings.
- MI breach investigations
- Deep dive investigations
Continually review and improve systems and processes to produce management information and reporting:
- Continually review management information and reporting for potential efficiency savings and compliance with business requirements
- Propose and implement short and long term solutions
Maximise the use of systems and software to automate the production of management information and reports. Continually look to improve the way management information and reports are presented to maximise the user experience and aid decision making:
- Work with available systems and software to improve efficiency of current management information and reporting function.
- Propose software solutions to enhance management information and reporting efficiency and functionality.
- Implement and agreed software solutions
Undertake administrative activities in relation to conduct reporting and governance activities:
- Maintenance of logs, templates and procedures in relation to conduct reporting and governance activities.
- Creation, implementation, documentation and embedding of any new procedures in relation to conduct reporting and governance activities.
- Administration and management of reporting and governance framework activities.
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned.
