Job Profile Summary
We are looking for an experienced Project PMO (Project Management Office) to join the Centralised PMO team and directly support the Finance Transformation Programme.
The role will report directly into the PMO Manager with a dotted line into the Senior Change Manager overseeing the FT25 delivery. This role will be responsible for supporting the FT25 Programme in a PM / PMO capacity, ensuring adherence to the Change Policy and Chaucer Project Delivery Framework. They will be required to collate, analyse and report on the activities, milestones and risks associated with the Strategic, Operations and Technology portfolio of projects and support the programme in a Project Management capacity. This will include ensuring project managers deliver on their commitments in terms of project reporting, deliverables and milestones as well as supporting larger programmes of work with scheduling and minuting of key meetings and workshops. They will also be responsible for supporting the PMO Manager with embedding and enhancing the project governance framework and reporting capabilities through Planview to ensure effective monitoring and QA across the FT25.
Job Description
- Project Management / delivery support to the FT25 programme.
- Ensure the FT25 programme and projects remain compliant with the Project Delivery Framework processes and procedures.
- Ensure the FT25 programme follows all related standards and adherence to Change Policy
- Run day-to-day standard PMO governance: financial control, reporting, planning, RAIDs management, etc.
- Manage the schedule and coordination of report production for Board packs and committees.
- Work closely with the Senior Change Manager to ensure consistent, robust and effective reporting.
- Identify where cross-project dependences exist and monitor these in support of the programme.
- Scheduling and minuting of key meetings or workshops.
- Maintain the FT25 programme document repository in SharePoint
- Support internal audit and external assurance reviews – as required - providing required artefacts and liaise with relevant parties.
- Support CIO and CTG leadership with maintaining communication channels (e.g. intranet pages, newsletters, town hall meetings)
Skills and Competencies
- Recent experience delivering Finance Change / Transformation in the Insurance Industry
- Relevant experience of working in project/programme environment with comprehensive knowledge of best practices, tools and techniques.
- Ability to provide delivery support to multiple programmes/projects at one time.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised approach with the ability to work under pressure.
- Experience of working across a number of project management methodologies and product development environments such as agile including scales agile, scrum, Kanban and waterfall such as Prince
- Highly structured and logical thinker, being able to plan and organise work coherently.
- High level quality driven individual, constantly challenging outputs/mechanisms/approaches for ongoing improvement
- Experience of using project management tools and the Office suite, notably project, excel and ppt.
- Excellent attention to detail and able to communicate effectively at all levels - clearly and succinctly conveying ideas and options.
- Ability to manage and communicate with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to flex approach as needed, resilient and able to cope with changing priorities.

Education
- Degree qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Project Management Qualification (PRINCE II or APM or PMI or ISEB) – essential
- Agile project management
- ITIL Service Management
- CII Certificate in Insurance
