Kennedys is seeking a Finance Technical Analyst to develop our Finance Reporting Suite, transitioning to a large self service dashboard model through PowerBI. This will include requirement gathering, documenting and developing complex dashboards from different data sources showing key metrics and delivering insight to the user.
This role requires a strong analytical capability, excellent stakeholder management and experience of working with sensitive data in a professional services environment.
Team
Kennedy's Client Reporting & Insight team is responsible for delivering valued Business Intelligence and Reporting to Key Clients, Finance and a Senior Internal Audience.
The team is comprised of both Client and Finance Analysts who produce key reporting and insight across the Partnership servicing Clients, Partners and Finance
Our team is based across London and Chelmsford.
Key responsibilities
- To be viewed as an expert in the field, and fully understand the wider business
- Work on projects that will utilise analytical skills to provide the business finance insights that will enable a deeper understanding of Kennedy's, adding value and showing upcoming impacts and trends
- Research, develop, and embed innovative tools, processes or methods that will improve finance reporting and team efficiency
- Be familiar with analytical tools, such as PowerBI, Alteryx, Elite and any other market leading product that allows for real time business insight
- Work with stakeholders to ensure the end product is delivered to the initial requirements, on time and to a high standard
Required experience
- 3+ years of experience using PowerBI.
- 3+ years of experience of SQL.
- Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills
- An excellent analytical and problem-solving capability
- Business solution oriented
- Knowledge of data models
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience supporting global or multi-region organisations
Desirable experience
- Experience in a Legal, professional services, or partnership-based organisation
