Win as a Team
In this role, you will lead a specialist underwriting team within Professional and Financial Risks, supporting profitable growth across D&O and Crime portfolios. Your contribution helps Intact Insurance UK deliver excellent commercial performance, trusted broker partnerships and positive customer outcomes. A collaborative environment allows you to develop people, strengthen underwriting capability and shape sustainable success
You’ll make an impact by:
- Leading and motivating a team to deliver profitable new and renewal business aligned to Intact Insurance appetite and portfolio strategy.
- Providing underwriting direction and support on D&O or Crime risks, ensuring we meet governance standards.
- Building and maintaining excellent broker relationships to identify opportunities and drive sustainable growth.
- Monitoring underwriting performance and service outcomes, taking action to improve results and customer experience.
- Developing colleagues through coaching and feedback to build capability
Your skills and experience:
- Experience underwriting D&O or Crime risks, with the ability to apply sound commercial judgement.
- Strategic leadership experience, guiding teams to deliver business goals.
- Excellent broker and stakeholder relationship management capability.
- Ability to make underwriting decisions within agreed authority and governance frameworks.
- A collaborative leadership approach that supports inclusion, development and high performance.
