The Role:
Key to the role will be contributing to the on-going development and maintenance of Canopius’ Organisational Resilience framework, ensuring a consistent approach and execution across all functions and relevant locations.
Responsibilities will include:
- Manage the on-going development and maintenance of the Organisational Resilience Framework, ensuring a consistent approach and execution across all functions and locations.
- Support and ensure compliance to relevant regulations to which we are subject to including but not limited to MAS BCM Guidelines and UK Ops Res.
- Working with relevant functions and IBS owners to ensure progress on milestones and deadlines are achieved
- Support the reviews of third-party contracts relevant to the IBS’ ensuring the relevant level of governance and reporting is in place. Working with Procurement to ensure exit plans are maintained and tested.
- Publish and maintain governance documents for Lloyd’s, Regulators and the CMA board when required.
- Working with the SMEs to address vulnerabilities in processes, documenting and designing recovery strategies to mitigate the risk
- Support in the creation and delivery of the Group wide Exercise & Testing plan, working with relevant SMEs to implement lessons learnt
- Support in the annual BIA and BCP review process
- Embed Resilience across the business, engaging with stakeholders through presentations and monitoring annual training modules
- Coordinate Incident and Crisis Management Teams to respond effectively to disruption
- Maintain our Crisis Comms capability including maintaining plans, the Emergency Notification System and stakeholder awareness
Skills & Experience
- Experience working in Risk / Compliance or Governance in a regulated business is advantageous
- Excellent stakeholder management, presentation and negotiation skills
- Exceptional problem-solving/analytical skills
- Must be able to work on their own initiative with a proactive and flexible attitude
